Is this a dog or a squirrel?

When my mom and dad said i was finally getting a brother i was so happy! for a while, my aunt penny (she's a golden retriever) stayed with us and we had so much fun playing tug and chasing squirels and swimming in ponds! then she went back to live with my nana and pops in a magical place called scotland and i don't see her much anymore. i was really sad when she left until my mom and dad got me a foster brother, chapman (a brittany just like me)! we were instantly best friends. he stayed with us for 4 months until he went to his forever home in wisconsin.

"i wish my mom and dad had adopted chapman to be my little brother"

i missed him so much that i moped around the house for 2 weeks! my mom was so heartbroken that she convinced my dad to get another dog. they looked at a few dogs before finding my brother and were really excited when they were chosen to adopt samson. i was excited too! and then....
they bring home this little pip squeak dog who is just making himself at home on MY mom's pillow. he doesn't play tug, he doesn't chase squirrels, he doesn't swim, he doesn't fetch. he is worthless!!!!

"this doesn't look like a dog to me! are you sure he isn't one of those cat things?"- bailey

I am happy for Chapman though. he now has a cool brother named bandit who is an english setter. my mom said she was glad he went to a home with another dog since him and me were such good buddies. his mom was nice and sent us some pictures of him and bandit.

Rescue Me

this is my sister bailey. she's a brittany spaniel. she kind of looks like me but is much bigger and with short ears. she annoys me a lot, but my momma likes her so i try to be nice. i wish i could be big like bailey. bailey says she wishes she was small so she could fit in momma's lap. momma let's her sit in her lap regardless so i don't see what the fuss about being small is.

me and my new mommy! she is very nice and gives me lots of toys and take me on walks everyday!

This picture was taken by my foster dad who took very good care of me until my forever family could come to pick me up!
My Momma is a very intuitive person! She and my dad had decided to get another pup for my sis Bailey and they really wanted a Cavalier King Charles (that's what I am). They also wanted to rescue because they worked with American Brittany Rescue and really had a heart for homeless puppies. Fortunately, most of us Cavalier are very loved so there aren't a lot of rescues like me out there. My momma got pretty frustrated with the search and started looking into breeders. The night before my momma was going to send in a deposit for a cute (not as cute as me) blenheim pup, she had a dream about the right dog for her. The dream told her that her perfect pup would be on the rescue site from Nevada. They next day she looked and I was posted for Texas. So it wasn't Nevada, but i was the right age, the right sex, the right color and housetrained! She couldn't believe her luck and called about me right away. As fate would have it, the lady who makes the adoption decisions had a broken computer and couldn't get to any of the new applications coming in for me. Since my momma had already applied for the rescue, her application was already printed out and available so she got chosen to be my new mommy and i am grateful for that! and guess what???? I was born in Las Vegas NEVADA!!! it's cool having a psychic mom! she knows when i miss her when she's at work, like right now!

It was tough having to leave my first home, but I am lucky to have found two humans who adore me and tell me everyday how handsome and smart I am. I also have a sister Bailey who is a big dog. she's very pretty but super annoying. i think she has adhd or something.
